Strata Star Table Topper
I just finished a Strata Star Table Topper. I watched the video posted by Missouri Quilts and figured out how to do it. It matches the first log cabin quilt that I made in 2008. I'd made lots of quilts, just no log cabins. I'm also just finishing a bargello that matches them.
Thanks for looking,

Hi Dolly, I posted a reply here, but it must have gone to never, never land so I'll try again. Your quilts are lovely. I would love to try making the star, but have too many ufo's to start something new. Your choice of colors and blends is beautiful. I am wondering if you purchased all that fabric at the same time. Must have been bolts! LOL Thanks for sharing your pics. Barbara

I bought the fabric for the log cabin mostly at a LQS and some at JoAnn's. When I decided to make the bargello a couple of years ago, I bought enough fabric to make that. I ended up changing the dark purple and dark green batiks. I also needed a border fabric for the wallhanging. The center strip of the topper is the border fabric. The topper was made from the left over fabric. I ended up doing a 7 strip strata rather than a 5 strip because I didn't have enough fabric left to do the 5. I'm really glad that I did, because I love it.
