    I think the quilt has much more personality with the yellow background. It turned out lovely! Also love your quilting.

    Totally awesome!!!! If it was my quilt I'd have to put that old sign on the front lawn inviting passers-by to come in and see what I made!! You did a great job - colors, quilting fabulous.

    It is exquisite! I think having to work with the buttery yellow was a happy accident. The colors are perfect together.
    Congrats on a job well done and a beautiful quilt. The quilting is great too.

    I am not a fan of yellow anything, but it gives your quilt a sweetness that would be missing with a white background. Very pretty.

    I did one years ago, (before I knew any rules or quilt police), that had a small calico floral background and solid color co-ordinates in the 'chain'. It is still one of my favorites.

    I wouldn't normally put these colors together either, but this turned out fantastic!! I am so impressed with your quilting also - it does take the piece over the top!!
