    I've been reading (and offering my perspective) the threads on batik fabric and why some do and some don't like them. I'm a very visual person; give me written instructions with pictures and I'll follow the pictures more than the words. Batiks give me so much more with the way they can convey a message in the movement of the colors or the color themselves.

    The first quilt is all batiks - even the background and the backing.

    The second is a wall hanging that is all batiks but the black. I added stick-on sequins and stars. The fabric on the pumpkin body is batik with a silver metallic spatter spray on top.

    Really pretty both of them. Your bats hanging is prettier than the pattern I've seen. Nice work.

    OHHHH Love the dancing with bats!!!! Both are nice but I love the unusual!
