    Both are very nicely done scrappy quilt. Like the pale aqua you used in the sashing. Kind of calm down the bright strips.

    I love this pattern for using up scraps such as ends of bindings. Your variable widths make it even more interesting.

    Both of your projects are just delightful! And thanks for the runner idea; that would be a great way to try out the QAYG method to test and practice before committing to a bed-size quilt.

    very nice...I like string quilting and sometimes do not use paper...just quilt it onto the batting and do QAYG to add backing or can even quilt with backing piece and save a lot of steps...
