Very pretty string quilt. I like the pops of purple. I think I am most taken with your use of the stripes in the squares. They add great interest to me. I am glad you are going to keep it.

Your string quilt turned out great. They do tend to be a bit ( tedious) and seem to always be a pain to quilt — all those dog gone seams— but they use up a lot of scraps and are always really when finished. It does take a long time to make one, but worth every minute. I have found with quilting it is best to do the least amount necessary for the batting chosen and stick with straight lines.
