I am almost done with the wifeís king size string quilt, binding is all I got left. I am happy with it, she is very happy with it.

This is my second quilt I am starting my third now its going to be a stack and wack wonky block. I seen a thread on it here on this site. It was fat quarters cut up and am embroidery a butterfly on some of the blocks, I donít have any pics of that part yet. Squared up with a 16.5 inch ruler.

Looks to me like making great quilts is genetic in your family! So often, talent seems to skip a generation. Thank you for sharing with us.

You're doing wonderful work, and now you're clearly hooked on quilting. Your vintage quilts are beautiful too.

From one of the same grandmother as before. You can see all the afgans (spelling?) she had made I got seven of them. All three of these grandmothers have been gone many years I am so happy to have got them from a family member last month.

Love Your wife quilt colors. The others are beautiful. What a spacious room to create in. Couldn't help notice the cool ironing board.

Those are such beautiful and well done quilts. Your wife's quilt is just gorgeous! You and your mom seem to be having a wonderful time. I'm the first in my family to quilt that I know of. Both my grandmothers sewed for a living, but one did upholstry and the other did alterations for a large department store. What part of OK are you from? I live south of Durant a couple of miles from the Red River. Always nice to see another "Okie"!
