I couldn't find the stabilizer either, used sulky but it is too high. Found some unfusible interfacing that I am going to try on the next one. The sulky pulled up too, but actually it worked out, just made sure i was at least half an inch over on my strips and could square them up. Not having the interfacing in the seams made it lay better. My centers of the star points did not always match up, but that adds to the charm (least that is my story).

I have never met Debbie, I belive she is out of Granbury TX which is about a 5 hour drive from here.

Beautiful...your colour choices are very striking. My DH walked by as I was admiring your quilt and said and I quote " That one almost wants to make me learn how to quilt" He was quite impressed with the star and shadow effect you had. Awesome job! But do I want him quilting? LOL!!!
