    String Quilt

Just put the binding on this scrap quilt. Just did straight walking foot quilting, such a relief not to agonize over what to do.Will use as a picnic quilt

I love it. If I'd made it my DH would grab it for 'stained glass' window covering.

Really, really nice! Anyone that can piece strips together like that amazes me!

This is very pretty and has a futuristic feeling to me. It reminds me of the great scene in Forbidden Planet where Dr. Morbius walks Commander Adams along the sky walks while he explains how big the machinery is. I love this quilt.

String quilts usually do strange things to my eyes but this one does not & is very, very lovely. I think it's because of the unique sashing & the sweet 9 patch blocks. I love it.

Nice job! I like the limited and repeated number of colors and fabrics here, and love the sashing with the 9 patch corners.

I agree. I love this. Is there a pattern or did you wing it? I would love to make this. I just think it's super. Thanks for sharing. BrendaK

Love the quilt, better than book as far as color choices and your border is great. I worried about sashing but you did such a great job. Thank you.

I just went by a pic on Pinterest. Blocks were 8 1/2 inches because I used telephone book pages. Sashing was 1 1/2 inch strips

beautiful pic nic quilt. I had made a kind sized churn dash when i was about 18. I got such dirty looks and a lot of if my mom saw what I did with her quilt, she'd kill me. Quilt police! Beautiful work on this one.

Now that is a beauty. I dont have that many of the same color scraps. Mine would look like an upside down trash can, But yours is a beauty. Congrats.
