It's so pretty! Looks almost like a tapestry. I'm so glad you shared this. Thanks.

Lovely string quilt. Love your layout. Reflecting on past quilts is fun while using up remaining scraps.😎

Your quilt is beautiful. I have a large double string quilt with pillow shams. Made from lots of scraps it is gorgeous and happy looking too.

I have grown to love scrappy quilts. I have made lots of them and plan many more. I do like matchy matchy but the scrappies are great to use up.

Very nice. I've been saving my strings and hope to make one when I have enough.

I can see why you love the quilt. Can't put my finger on what makes it "lovely" but it is. Perhaps the memories and perhaps the color balance. Don't leave it around, someone will take it and snuggle up in it! :~)

I've always loved string quilts. They are like a walk down memory lane when made from scraps. Your quilt is lovely. Enjoy your trip down memory lane.

Great quilt. The grey inner border is a great counterpoint to all the strings.

Really nice string quilt! When I'm in a quilting "funk" I pull out strings and start playing--somehow it rejuvenates my sewing--hadn't thought about it being the memories!
