Thanks everyone for looking and placing comments about my work.
As you remember,I had the pattern from a friends book, but I didn't know the books name.So I had to ask my friend first. Here is the name of the book: Quick Quilts from the Heart by Liz Porter & Marianne Fons.

This is great love the colour but I have a question. How do you keep your seems from being a big lump in he center? I tried this once and had trouble were all the seams come together in the center.Yours looks perfect.

I always iron my seams open, also when i do the final seam to put the 2 halfs together.I press the center from both sides of the quilt a few times to get it as flat as possible. When I did my very first star, I had the same trouble in the center, but then I figured out, what works best for me.

Okay so seams open. That's so much for the help. I just might make that Lonestar quilt yet.

A good friend of mine gave me the pattern when I started quilting a few years ago. So here is what I ended up with...
The square measures 20.5 inches, the pattern is out of a book (sorry, don't know, which book)

I have that book.
The star made in the book uses a Black background.

Yours is very pretty, prettier than the Black background.
WHAT is the name of the book, please?? LOVE the star !!!
