Default Strip lash quilt

I saw this pattern advertised on Facebook, I thought who needs a pattern, I had a jellyroll I was dying to use and started sewing, I have less than a day in the top. it measures 83x93, can't wait to quilt it.

That's a great strip quilt. I'd be eager to quilt on that too: what are you going to do quilting?

I like that! I have some Easter Bunny fabric I recently picked up and pulled a bunch of fabrics to use with it. I can see that clearly as Easter Eggs from the strips I pulled... maybe add in one more center row that is squared ends and not angles to make it more egg shaped.

It's my one problem with this board, you guys give me so many ideas Thanks for sharing your lovely project.

Edit: Scratch the idea about adding the extra row, works great as is. But now I see cupcakes in it! Think of the hexes with a bottom of colored cupcake fabrics and tops of frosting. Maybe I'm hungry and should just go have some breakfast.

That looks great. Don't you just love it when all things come together as you planned?

Very nice quilt, I am surprised at the size of it! It just doesn't look as big in the photo as the measurement. I have been looking for something to make using hexie shapes that seems easy so thanks for sharing it!
