My BIL placed screws in a 2x4 that we placed over the woodwork of the sliders, we then hung Hang-Ups over the screws, then hung the quilts. On a nice day I fold the middle sections back which allows plenty of sunlight. I also have a regular door to use so I am not stuck using the slider all the time. The quilts were quilted by Charisma!!!

Beautiful...I was reading an article published in some newspaper, I think it was called The Telegraph, that a woman was making stained glass quilt blocks to cover broken window panes in a church...looked really nice as does yours..

Beautiful! For those of you who have hung quilts where they are exposed to sunlight, what do you do to prevent the fabrics from fading?

I love the look. I love stained glass. Did you use batting in the quilt?

Warmth and beauty at the same time. Good Job! Possibly a fireplace that is not used could be adapted to this concept also.
