have you ever done one of those Mile a Minute quilts where you sew all your strips together end to end to form one really long strip. Then you match the two ends and sew the strip so it is half the length, (in effect you have cut the long strip in half and sewed a quilt top two strips wide. Then the ends are matched again and the quilt is 4 strips wide, then 8, then 16 etc. I bet there is a tute somewhere that says how many strips you need. They are gorgeous fabrics.
It's hot & humid & miserable here in WI, too. DH pointed out today that even the weeds are wilting! And our A/C picked yesterday to go belly up! Thank goodness the nice A/C guy came right out & fixed it but still... whew!

Here it is 'mid way' through summer and we really haven't had summer yet. Second year in a row for really odd weather here in Oregon. Normally its 75 to 85 and gorgeous. We've had WAY more rain, cooler temps and weather that seems to change every 5 minutes....

It'a hot and humid and I'm bored too. I like your plan but need to do some clearing up in sewing room first. You have some very nice color combinations that will make some really intereting blocks. Have fun, May in Jersey
