Dexx sent me this Batik quilt.he gave me creative freedom to do as I wanted.....I put these fern type designs on the blocks and they form a diagnal line that spans across the quilt kind of like a huge cross hatch design..so a design within a design..love those kind!

I love the ferns because they have an earthy-botanical sort of a feeling and that is what I think about with batiks.

I did this all freehand..on my INNOVA. No pantographs or computer quilting.

Great peicing..lovely fabrics...Beautiful quilt.

You amaze me with your innovative designs! I tried a long arm once...then bought a sit-down quilter..which doesn't lend itself to the type of designing you do...even if I could!
