Ooh... I am sorry but I seem to have started a little controversy here. In the UK, bunting is made from triangles (or other shapes) sewn together and sewn between bunting tape. The tree is made from equilateral triangles which are stuffed with soft toy stuffing and then the corners are joined together to create the tree shape.
Bunting is used in the UK for celebrations, nurseries and can be hung in and outdoors. There is no limit to the colours and patterns you can use, as you can see from some bunting I made from an old people's group last year.

Whatever you call it I like it a lot and it looks really cute and not to hard to do but comes out nicely. Good job. I didn't realize there was two different ones posted here I saw the stuffed one and then the other one they are both cute. Sue
