Thank you to everyone for your comments! I don't know any quilters near me, so I really appreciate having somewhere to show this one off where people understand what went into it!

You must be the personification of "stick-tuitiveness". I think that one would be at the bottom, in the closet had I ever started it. Good thing there are people like you who finish such a treasure so the lazies like me can see it. What a beauty!

Agree one hundred percent. What an achievement. However, I've never heard of "willpower up the kazoo". I've been giggling about that for about an hour.
