Because if your like me, you love working with small pieces and you love a challenge! The feeling of accomplishment when a piece like this is done is grand indeed.

BTW- my first introduction to "Dear Jane" was a quilt I saw at the International show in Chicago a few years ago and like you, she had a love/hate relationship with the quilt and named it "No Pain, No Jane".

Your Stupid Sylvia quilt is awesome!! Beautiful work, lovely fabric choices.

Keep going. I see Jane, Omigosh, and Farmers Wife in your future!!

That is one beautiful sampler quilt!! I think you might need to consider a namechange when you have a little more distance from the project- it's fabulous!

To do something so tedious is truely a labor of love. Beautiful job.

Thanks so much for sharing your journey with us. I know how you feel. I did that on a Totally Tubular quilt and as I was endlessly working on it, it somehow got renamed 'The quilt from H - - -". I even included the nickname on the label when I was finished but amazingly it looked good when done. Yours is spectacular though and now you know you can do anything! :-)
