Just finished this Sudoku quilt. I did not use a pattern and the squares were charms. The 4 stars at the top are for a difficulty rating (which most puzzles have) and it IS a valid completed puzzle. It fits a twin size bed.

Yay for creating a valid sudoku puzzle!

I'm getting cranky about the so-called sudoku quilts that are nothing but a framed 9-patch, nothing of the puzzle about them at all.

    Yours turned out very nice.

I made suduko quilt tops several of them. I took one of the puzzles out of a suduko book and also put big black numbers on certain squares. Was fun to make. I like yours it turned out really nice.

Love, love love doing Sudokus and the more difficult the better. When I get to the point that I have to "guess" I don't. If I can't solve the puzzle with logic, I consider it invalid. I've even gone so far as to leave the last 2 squares blank when it can be either-or.

    Call me stubborn!!!!!

Get a suduko book and use one of the puzzles for your pattern. :)

Did you put the solution to the puzzle on the back of the quilt? I hand-pieced one with African fabrics and used the turn quilt method. I printed out the solution to sew on the back of the quilt. I have taken it apart (border and backing) to make it a larger quilt (will add a couple of pieced borders to it).
