I have fabrics (batik) for my DIL who loves to do Suduko--now wondering if I should change my plans. Very clever and beautiful.

Love it! I came to this post just expecting different colors representing different numbers, not completely different blocks. Love this idea!!!!!!

I love doing the puzzles and just love your quilt. I was thinking of doing one using one color small print blocks for the 9 block squares, but I love your idea better. My plan is to make one for a fund raiser for next January. What a cool idea you have. Thanks for sharing.

I did one it's a challenge for my mini quilt group. We exchanged
10 inch squares and we are suppose to make something out of the fabric... It's all Ladybug fabric... I used 3 inch squares... haven't gotten it finished yet...

Thank you everyone for your kind words, I am very proud of this quilt! The quilt pattern came from the book Nine by Nine 9-Patch Quilts, 9 Ways. by Cyndi Hershey. The units are: Friendship-Star, Grecian-Square, Nine-Patch, Double-X, Spool, Ohio-Star, Ribbon-Star (my version because I made a mistake 2x's!), Rail-Fence, and Bow-Tie. I got the book and material from my favorite LQS, The Quilting Corner in Tilton, NH.

That is a phenominal quilt popcorn. I haven't gotten into sudoku so it took me a few seconds to see how it was sudoku.
