    Sugar Bee is a Star

Ranbro asked me to make a quilt for his sister of her beloved Sugar Bee and this is how it turned out. He wanted her eyes open and just the dog in the picture. I had quite a time but I think I captured her likeness pretty good. Donna loves to garden and it looks like Sugar was digging up all of her flowers.

Nope, no painting on it. It is all fusible applique but I do dye my own fabrics to get the different shades.

Perfect likeness and the essence of her comes out too. Did you paint on fabric or is this pieced or both?
