Default Summer Song- my first art quilt

    Hi everyone,
Just sharing my first art quilt, I wanted to make something that described the joy of the first day of summer. I used beads organza, and foil ,some steampunk parts for the butterfly wings. It was quite an operation!! Thankyou, Lois xx

What a beautiful fantasy quilt. I say fantasy because looking out my glass sliders, I see the latest "dump" and no way is spring coming here any time soon. My one and only first quilt retreat scheduled for this week-end was cancelled. I feel fortunate to have water and power, many thousands in this state have neither.
That aside, I am in awe of your art quilt.
