I plan to put some applique in with the blocks. Maybe some flowers by the feet or something. Haven't gotten that far. Wanted to at least get the top done, then can work on the rest of the embellishments.

Terri,

Your comment about the age sameness of you and your friend's mom reminds me of this story. A group of us ladies from church were out to eat for some reason - most of us are in our mid to late 40's. One girl, the dil of one of us was with us - about 22 or so. We were talking about the pros and cons of getting tattoos. One of the 40ish women mentioned her recent thoughts of getting one. The younger girl spoke up, "I'm thinking it's not a good idea. I mean, when you get to be forty or so you may regret it." We all burst out laughing - pointed out to her we WERE in our 40's!!! She thought it was so funny... glad we can have friends of all ages and no one even realizes it!! I have friends in their 60's and friends in their 20's or 30's. LOVE IT!!

I love it. It's just so sweet...the girls will treasure it.

Remember...age is a state of mind. From what I see of your posts and activities, you will never grow old.

I think it's so cute and I really like the burgandy; it gives it depth.

Your cat certainly approvesof it.

But for now, it's done.
If you mistakenly put C-E-L-E-S-T-E on there, there's a not so little lady who would give it a home!

Lookin' good, Ms. Terri! Is this a wallhanging or a baby quilt? Sorry, I forgot.
