Sun Bonnet Sue-UPDATED!!!!!
#82
Well I understand WHY you did it....but I liked the first one too, but at least when the two quilts are together it will be easier to distinguish which one belongs to each of the little girls. I love sunbonnet sue's!!! I was reading up about the history on a site I think Loretta posted, I didn't realise Holly Hobby was a follow on from it, AND I remember how my grannie used to embroidery those chair backs with ladies in crinoline dresses and bonnets......so a pattern evolves through the ages doesn't it!!

I found out how to do the curves. Did you use a stabilizer and reverse each piece? This was done in the example I read about today! So much easier!
I love your quilt. This is one quilt I have failed in trying to make. I remember a friend of mine in 6th grade had one grace her bed. Her Grandmother made it. From them on I was in love with quilting!

I just ironed the Wonder Under onto the fabric, turned the fabric over, traced the template onto the back and cut out each piece. Then ripped off the paper and ironed it on the square. Then just stitched around each one. I just went REALLY slow on the curves and it seems I have it down pretty good.

Wow, I am still letting this tearing apart hard work then redoing! You are brave one !.
Japan, wow! The sights you will see! I baby sat for a Japanese woman while she took her English classes. She gave me the most beautiful doll after she was done. It was gorgeous!
Oh the material you will see ! I hope you can visit a grocery store, a fabric store, a library. Everyday places too. I am always curious about other countries and how they live. Wonder if more open markets or groceries ?
Please, let us know about your August trip!
