    Default Sunbonnet Sue blocks

I started a Sunbonnet Sue months of the year quilt. The designs are embroidered on my Brother embroidery machine. I am adding sashings to correspond with the month. Here are three that I made today. January, February, and March.

They are just gorgeous. What a great idea to use the months of the year as your theme.

I might just have to "steal" that idea and use it as an idea for my granddaughter. Perhaps a wall hanging with the months of the year. Hmmmmm now the old grey cells are ticking over.
