What great quilts. Thanks for sharing. That little girl is just so cute. A beginning quilter.

Lovely pics and quilts....that little mascot seems to be enjoying being a part of the action. What a great idea to start her quilting journey....

What a great job everyone is doing. Your little mascot is darling and will grow to love sewing and hold fond memories of all of you as she grows older.

Yes she does love it...and the quilt her grandmother is making is going to her when she gets bigger...wow...what memories will be in that quilt for her...she helps her grandmother "thread" her machine....LOL...sometimes she even lets her pick out the fabric for Sue...She has a sister in Kindergarten and she had a tough time the first of school..so when we had our prayer before sewing, she would request prayer for her sister in school...
The grandmother even put a cake with candles for the months of her and her sister...pic is attached.
You can tell which one is her grandmother..lol...

I have one of these particular Sunbonnet Sue's in my UFO collection. You gals inspire me to want to get after it and finish it. Thanks for sharing your wonderful quilts. My lst SBS quilt was made in a class at our church and will always be a special one to me because of the fun fellowship we all had while making our quilts. Love the pic of the little mascot quilter.
