Poor Sue! With her eyeball plucked out?????? What a great sense of humor, and a conversation starter for living room guest. Let see, I am going to remember your name, Mad Quilter, Mad Quilter, Mad Quilter, Mad Quilter,Mad Quilter. OK, I got it. And, Yes, I promise never to cross your path and make you mad. LOL.....Thanks for making me laugh.

When I first introduced the blocks that there were two camps: One who thought the blocks were funny and creative - the other thought I was vile and horrible for "ruining" SBS. I'd say let sleeping dogs lie.

this is hysterical! I'm doing Sunbonnet Sue's with a group in my guild--we each have a month and I want them to be fun instead of traditional--so I'm meeting them half way--my August is going to be at the swimming hole with an inner tube--IF I can pull it off!

Of course you can. I got asked by a lady to design one where Sue scuba dives. Turned out really cute. (It was for a wedding quilt so I had to leave the shark out of the picture. lol)
