I don't think I've ever seen this with rectangular blocks--very pretty.

Lovely! Looks like it's ready to spread over a nice wicker love seat out on the patio! Like the rectangle shape too, have only done them with squares before. And on this side of the river...not raining at the moment...quick get out there for a walk!

What a happy, sunny quilt. Love it. Makes me feel that summer is just around the corner. I think a border on this quilt would have taken away some of the "happy" feel. Borderless was the way to go!

Yours is a beautiful quilt! I am planning a D4P after completion of several other projects and looking for samples. I like yours a lot!

May I ask if you used a tute or pattern? Looked them up on line, but there are just so many variations. Thanks for any info. Our gr Daughter would love one.
PlainPat ... I did not use any specific tutorial or pattern. There's been a lot of D4Ps posted here on the QB with details as to how to. I even suspect there would be info in the Tutorials. Of course, you could always let Google be your friend as I know you will find more than enough info there!

Thanks Everyone!! ... I really enjoyed working on this one last spring ... and then finishing it in the middle of this long winter. It's nice to see so many favourable comments and I hope it has brightened your day too!

Love your quilt!

Was the yellow part of the collection, or simply well matched?

It looks great!

Thank you, GirlFriend! ..... Everything was from my stash, and none of it was bought earlier with the intention of putting it together. I had just been accumulating florals, just because I knew I wanted to do something! The yellow had been used as a backing on another quilt, sometime ago, and I had a good size piece leftover. That's what determined the size as I made D4Ps til I ran out of yellow!

As it turned out, the tulips and the yellow were from the same fabric line, from several years ago. Ironically I found a bolt end in January to give me more yardage for the tulips and made it much easier, as I only had to do 2 seams ... and yes, I matched them all three pieces.
