Super Mario quilt for my son
Hi guys!
Been a LONG time since I've posted on here, or even visited here. After I had my son, I pretty much had zero time for quiting, so I fell off the face of this board. (of course, getting my quilt stolen during the RR didn't help...)
Anyway, I started a quilt for my son's big boy bedroom last spring, and while I finished the top within a few weeks, I only just now got around to assembling and quilting it. That's my biggest problem, I have so many finished tops that just need to be assembled and quilted, lol. I just thought I'd share my latest, and by far, my son's favorite. (This was before I put the binding on, oops, it's just bound in the same red as the bottom)

Very nice. My son had me do something similar for him with the character Link. I can't remember what game he's from. Made the quilt about 6 years ago. Took me close to 4 months to stitch all those 2" blocks together to make it too. He's 29 and told me that he still loves that quilt!
