The quilt inspector is my daughter's dog. We kidnapped the poor thing. She's 15 years old (the dog, not the daughter), blind, a bit deaf, and quite arthritic. So she lives with us because my husband is home all day. She needs the company.
So many quilts, so little time.

What a great idea. And it didn't add to the scrap heap.

What a great (and easy) idea. I will be using this one for sure. Your quilt inspector is a real cutie-pie, as well!

Thanks, those are really cute. I have some fabric that will be perfect for that. I try to ship my Quilts for Kids quilts six at a time. I have three ready to go so this will let me get a box out before Thanksgiving.

Very interesting on the quick quilts! They are very nice. What's more interesting is that I have that same rug as you do!!!

Anybody know how to do this in a larger size (Lap / twin). I'm sure it is just mathematics, (which is why I am struggling) but this would make a very quick quilt for a charity group I am working with for tornado disaster relief in Nebraska. We are in need of larger lap / twin size quilts and this might make a really quilt one. Thanks for the advice.
