    Default Superbowl project

I am so not a sports fan, so I spent the afternoon in my sewing room making this potholder from a free pattern on McCalls quilting website. I made a few tweaks, I bound the edges and rounded the lower corners and made a prairie point for the beak. It was fun to do a little something that I could finish up in a few hours.

That is so cute! Nice to finish a project in an afternoon.

What a cute idea and I like the changes you made. Looks much more professional this way. It's fun to get away from the serious quilts once in a while and just play around with something fun. I'm with you - not a sports fan so it WAS a good day to sew.

My first thought - a larger version would make a great tote bag. You used the Super Bowl time well!

Very cute! Looks wonderful. I would not want to get food on it if it was mine.

Really cute! I agree with JJean...I wouldn't want to mess it up with food on it, either. Thanks for sharing.
