A surprise find
I picked up this fabric, some completed blocks, 3 of them already sandwiched, in a charity shop; the following week, in the same shop, I found some more fabric, and set about completing the quilt.
I often think about the person who started the quilt, and why the project ended up in the charity shop.
Some of the blocks are EPP, and I completed 2 of them. Initially, I thought it was very yellow/mustardy in colour, but now that it is completed, I really like it.
It is QAYG, with some leaves and stems quilting in the empty spaces. Otherwise, it is all SITD, and the block patterns show up very nicely on the reverse.
The photos are of a couple of EPP blocks, and the front and reverse while on the washing line.
