You did a terrific job on this! Pretty fabric choices. The low driving the storms went 150 miles east, and we didn't get the foot of snow and high winds. It would have better for us to get hit out in the rural areas instead of the city areas to the east. Most of electrical lines are underground now and so what if the wind blows snow across an empty field.

It is currently 32.7C = 90.86F (5.05PM) in Adelaide town! On Christmas day it was 38C = 100.4F so we opted to stay indoors and had ham and english mustard sandwiches washed down with a large jug of Pimms for Christmas lunch! I can not remember the last time we had a winter frost!

Cheers Jan

PS Top job on the potholder!

I'd love to make some of these for next Christmas. Could you please share the pattern name? Thanks and Happy New Year. Hope your weather improves.

What a fun hot pad. I really like its cheery colors. Nothing like getting prepared for whatever comes next. I am glad your power stayed on and that you used your time as a bonus time. We didn't get any of the weather this time around.

Beautiful! I've seen this pattern before but can't remember where. Would you mind sharing the name of your pattern?
