These blocks were made by the rainbow quilt company and I only had 9 or ten of them so I am going to post pictures of the ones I just received from Sweat pea on the left and the ones I have had as an UFO for the last 30 years. LOL My grandmother did some of them and she passed on in 1969 so you know how old these blocks are. I am so thrilled to be able to finally have enough to finish a quilt top in her memory.

These are the rest of my UFO blocks

It will get me back in my recliner spending time with DH embroydering instead of stashed away in the quilting room all the time. LOL

Oh, I love your Grandmother's blocks and what a treasure you will have when all finished! I have a quilt top that I have had since 1968 and keep doing a little bit on it. You have inspired me to keep working on it...

There were a couple of quilt blocks that were almost done, so I finished them, now got them in a good soak because all old linens are a little yellow. I have 5 more to finish and will take it with me when we go to Mpls this weekend for Renessaince. Will show you all family picture when we get out outfits on.

I have a few blocks that I am working on being finished but the other ones have been in soaking in Oxyclean and denture tablets. Yes, I googled it. They are almost all white so most of the yellowing stains are out. They look terrific.

OMG, the soaking has turned the yellow white, so I have 12 blocks that are completely clean and waiting for the other 4 blocks, so I have 16 all together. now I will need to figure out a pattern to piece them together. Thinking, thinking, thinking, so if anyone else has any options please feel free to help.

15 blocks are finally embroydered and soaking or white. I have one more to embroider and then I ask "how should I put them together as a quilt?
