I would think that if you don't want any seams it couldn't be bigger than the width of the fabric.
I think I will have to try one with the train, even though I don't know anybody who has a babyboy right now lol.

Thanks! I didn't think about not having seams!! Good point! So definitely no bigger than 44/45"......unless you buy wide backing to make it bigger but I really don't think you would want to make it bigger than regular with fabric for a baby quilt. You could use a round table cloth for a pattern to cut the circle ...or an actual pattern for a round table cloth to cut the circle? Now we have to work on templates for the center... :shock:
