It is really pretty, I love the colors. The story about your dad is funny, but you know, women tend to out live men so there are a lot of women out there. At all the assisted living homes I had in my jurisdiction, staff always said you could tell when a new single man moved in because there would be a long line of casserole dishes at his door! Too funny!!

I really like your quilt. Orange has always been my favorite color and I'm glad to see it being used in so many quilts. Wishing your dad and his lady years of good health and joy.

Your Swoon is beautiful! I have it on my "to do" list. I have never seen one with the stars in the setting. And hand quilted??? OMG. I couldn't give it away.

Great quilt! I really like how you set the swoon blocks with the smaller squares. It really helps to showcase the swoon blocks.

How generous of you to give her a hand quilted quilt. Kudos to your Dad for still going strong at 86.

I like the swoon pattern, but I love your extra stars in the sashing. I think that really sets it off. Love the colors, too. You did a great job.
Oh, and by the way, if she doesn't like it, you can send it to me
