Thanks everyone. I’ve only been machine sewing since Christmas but I have found that I prefer paper piecing to patchwork piecing - probably because I find it much easier to be accurate - I just have to sew on the lines!
Ive already made the first 2 blocks from Merry and Bright to go with it although I have scaled them down from 9” finished to 6”. I know I am going to regret that at some point when my maths skills are challenged ��
I’ve got tobacco decide on my backing next so I can begin to quilt each block. Quilting is what I am definitely not so good at so will need lots of practice!
