    What a nice surprise! Great idea framing the t-shirt with borders. Your backing pattern works so well with the front.
    By fleece, do you mean flannel?

    No, not flannel, but anti-pill fleece. Got it at Joann Fabrics. It is the third quilt I have made with a fleece back. I don't use batting, just the fleece. It makes for a quilt you can really snuggle with...very soft. No problem quilting it either :-)

    Great quilt! I love the story about the borders. You did a great job on this one. I love the back fabric too.

    I think this is one of the "funnest" quilts that I have seen on this board.

    I think you and your DH will both get a chuckle when you see that quilt!
