My brother wanted a t-shirt quilt from his old t-shirts. He cut out 15 x 15" blocks from his favorite t-shirts and put iron on interfacing on each of them (per my instructions.) He ended up with 15 blocks for the front and then another 15 for the back of the quilt! I had no idea how crazy I was when I said yes to making both the front and back with these t-shirt blocks. The piecing was easy - he had done the difficult part. I just made 2.5" strips to connect the blocks. The tough part was when I went to quilt it and had to match the front and back! I never thought about it before but usually the back is just a plain piece of fabric. Anyway, I finished it the night before Christmas and was able to give it to him as a Christmas gift. he loved it! Here we are with the quilt.

Yes, he loves Pink Floyd. And he had all these t-shirts that he didn't know what to do with. It is a very unique quilt, not my taste, but I'm so glad I was able to make it for him.
