    Wow Rob, for an avante guarde art quilter extraordinaire making a t-shirt quilt must have been excrutiatingly boring for you. Very clever to insert strips of T shirt to makes some blocks look like they are overlapping and layering up on others. I can definitely sympathize with taking a couple of years to get it done, T-shirt quilts are low on my list and I have made several. Take a bow. Your cousin will be very happy. So happy that you shouldn't be surprised if another bag of t-shirts makes its way to your sewing room.
