Here is what I decided it was going to be my son's Kindergarden teacher's Christmas gift. Need to quilt it yet.
I saw the beautiful panel and bought it.. $12, less than 1 yr of fabric for sashing and borders $5, now batting ?? and backing (I will use linen. So it is not bad as I don't have to go shopping for the rest.
I hope the teacher doesn't think "I wish I had a gift cert for the value of it"
Teachers out there. What do you think?

I think it's great! A teacher will surely appreciate all of the hard work put into it. They get enough gift cards and coffee mugs.

Nice! As a former junior high teacher, I always appreciated anything someone thought to give me, but homemade was always a favorite. I'm sure it will be appreciated.

I've been teaching for 31 years and would love to receive this as a gift. I teach 2nd grade and would be happy to be your son's teacher in two years!!!!
