Fell in love with the cute snowmen fabric. Since the snowmen were in contiuous bands across the width of the fabric, I was able to make 6 table runners as gifts and 1 for myself. The close-up shows the machine embroidered redwork type snowflakes I combined and stitched randomly on the center panel insert. This one is mine and was stitched in a darker tone. The gift runners were much nicer and stitched in an opalecent mettalic thread. No pictures because they are already wrapped.

The hexagon runner was made using the large Hickory Hill templates and two leftover poinsettia fabrics.

Thank you Eddie for getting the templates for me.

Fantastic job. I notice you have a lot of quilts stacked in the background. Are they all gifts?? You have been very busy.

Quilts in the background of the snowman table runner are ready for turning and the quilting for Project Linus. I tend to assembly line sew and always have a dozen or more in progress and in various stages going at once.
My sewing room is total chaos with stacks of pre-cut blocks, another of assembled tops, one of sandwiched quilts needing turning, another of turned and pinned awaiting the final quilting. When I fill a large trash bag with finished quilts (usually about 10) they go into my car for delivery to the Project Linus coordinator when I happen to be in her area or until I'm forced to take them to her because I have no more room in the car.
