    table topper

my DC has asked me for a table topper for her round coffee table. Searching the web I found this one, but the instructions were in Russian! Using a translator I was able to make it, but it took some seam ripping and rereading the instructions. The diagonal cut has to be at 60 degrees, otherwise is not going to lay flat.
Still need quilting, but want to share it ..

Great topper!! Good job working through the translation (I have had experience with that and sometimes things are not correctly translated).

Your table topper is very pretty and interesting. You met more than a couple of challenges to be able to make it. I remember fondly that my mother admired knitted doilies and wanted to make some. However, the patterns were written in German. Taking the challenge, she learned enough German to translate the pattern for herself and make the beautiful doilies. I still have them and treasure them. I admire your determination to use this pattern.

It looks great. I downloaded a pattern once that was all in metric measurements. It took me a while but I was able to convert to inches.
