I have never ordered a kit and have no idea...but this is a very nice one!

I believe the centre is a panel with the design printed on it,the fabric is MODA "Stars and Coxscombs" very pretty collection. :thumbup:

thats correct, it was a panel and the kit came with the border fabric which I had to mitre, the binding and the backing. I just quilted slightly to the inside of the designs to make it look like applique and then stippled around in the centre. I found it in a lqs that was unfortunately closing, hence the great price!
