well mon-wed i can quilt freely while kids are at school ..especially if I don't ahve any cleaning or errands..which is hardly ever the case...but I pack alot of punch into those hours that I can. I also sew at night after DH and kiddos go to bed...I don't sleep alot..sewing helps me relax....but I also just think I am faster...than some ( that is what I am told by my quilting friends anyway) I don't analyze or think about things to much..once I have a pattern and fabric I just do it.

Thanks for the idea. I have quite a few left over from a quilt that didn't need to be as big as the pattern. It started out as an 84" square. I am making it for my sister for Christmas and just want it to be more of a throw that she can take a nap under and of course her animals (2 dogs and a cat) will surely nap on it too. She has 3 birds too but I don't think they'll be napping on it. It is all made of scraps left from other projects. Will post a pic once it is complete.
