Yes, sewlittletime....I did use 2 panels and coordinating fabric.

I did something similar for DH, but just a wall hanging using attic windows type borders. I think I got that idea at this site, too.
I used 2 panels .... one on top of the other......and I cut the panel with 2 side sections on each side in different widths.....and then for the last small section, I used coordinating fabric.
