Teacher gifts, finished just in time!
#1
My son has autism, and his special ed teacher and aide go above and beyond to make his school life productive and happy.
His aide is getting her BA, so I made the quilted cover for a composition book for note-taking and the like. She's of Mexican heritage, so I used scraps from a Mexican-themed quilt I made this year. I got the pattern from American Patchwork & Quilting Dec. 2010 issue, although mine looks very different due to the fabric!
I made the coasters for his teacher. I hope she likes them.
Happy Holidays, everybody!
