Default Tee Shirt UFO No More

After three years of on and off work, this tee shirt quilt is finished and gifted to my sister and her husband.

It is a "summer quilt" (no batting, flannel backing only) but came out plenty heavy at king size.

The green peacock feather fabric that makes up the sashing and parts of the borders was taken from table runners at their wedding.

It's beautiful, and the peacock fabric is both colorful and meaningful. Bet your sister loves it.

It's a great quilt, Kelly, and how clever to use fabric from their wedding!

Very cool!! I love everything about this quilt. Especially, the sentimentality. So sweet. Kelly...those blocks rock the way added different style piecing with the odd sizes. I hope you don't mind if I save this idea. I have a t-shirt quilt for a fireman I'll likely be doing for him this coming year...
