    How did you do the embroidery? By hand? By machine? (I'm just trying to learn.)

    Yes, you did a great job. Please don't put yourself down. In general, we tend to be far too hard on ourselves. If I were to receive that quilt, I would be very pleased! I'm sure your SIL will be, too!

    Thanks for all your kind comments. I tackled this one all by myself. I learned t embroider when I was a little girl.

    The quilt pattern is called Stars Across Texas. It will come up if you google it.

    All in all, I'm really pleased at how this one turned out.
