I wanted to give this portrait dimension for a splash of fun. The original photo had a flower in the hair of the little girl, so I had some old flowers from a worn out bouquet. I colored the petals with colored pencils, but it didn't seem to brighten it up enough. So, I found some glitter glue in a bottle, and spread that down the centers of the petals to create the hair flower. Well, I had some gliter left over, and I didn't want the big girl to not be flashy like her little sister, so just made squiggly stripes across the blouse area. It seems to be holding up well, I have rolled that thing up 20 times, and the glitter is still holding strong.

She was quite thrilled & surprised. She knew I had been working on something, but had no idea what. When I showed it to her, she obviously thought it was cool, then it dawned on her it was her girls. It was kinda funny.

And the girls had a big debate where it should hang. They decided to put it in the hall so everyone can see it always.
