Here is the first of the projects I wanted to get done this weekend. It was a little project but at least I finished a project. :) I needed to get finish some smaller projects that had been hanging around before I get going on the Christmas wall hangings.

Oh, I love it. I love the border colors, also, they make it stand out. Great job.

Hi Bonnie, I didn't realize it was you, you changed your avatar.

Thanks. I couldn't wait any longer and to help put me in the Christmas (projects) I decided to put up my santa's helper.

Thanks. I liked this panel because they put the animals a little bit outside the border. I tried to quilt it to help make it stand out a little bit more also.

Love the tiger! I'm going to work on DD's teacher's couch throw this weekend and maybe even something for myself or a couch throw for my sister......... I don't know for sure yet, can't think about it until I get Thanksgiving out of the way.

I get to have a freebie holiday on Thanksgiving. :) I go to my ex's house for Thanskgiving with him and family (we're still friends) so I don't have to cook anything and nobody thinks it is weird if I don't stay long. :)

These are some of the "panels" that I had bought years ago and just stuck away and then I was given some. Figured it was time to do something with it.

The only problem with most of the panels is that they don't give you enough room to bind them if you cut them up. I usually lose that outer border they furnish you with and put on my own. You can save the borders for other projects though so it isn't wasted I guess.

Thanksgiving weekend project number 2 completed. This is a pillow case for a friend whom I designed and will do a queen size quilt for. This pillowcase is for his birthday and is the same design and fabrics that will appear on the back of the quilt.
